A good look at Hollywood and religious division? More importantly the editors note at the end. Do the writers or editors get any sort of penalty? Just curious.
I saw 21 Grams this week. It was a very good movie that had a lot of strong performances. The unique way that the time sequence went made the viewer truly invest something into watching the movie closely. Old news by now, but something to write about.

A look at a speaking engagement of NY Times Sulzberger. His criticism of Chicago's "Red" papers is a bit silly. NY is a very different place that Chicago or DC (Express). Is he saying that the NY Times is better than all those papers (Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times)?

I think it is important to say that the Times reader is not going to read that kind of paper. Then again it also doesn't make economic sense for him to go after that market when the Daily News and the NY Post are already involved in a long circulation war. DC and Chicago doesn't have this problem of a competative market (The Post is a monopoly [no the Washington Times does not compete], the Tribune and Sun-Times carved up the broadsheet and tabloid markets for themselves), hence the big dailies pursue the "red" paper.
Don't worry about the Presidential campaign kickoff, it started a couple of weeks ago. That liar Bush began with the rumor mongering on Matt "How hard did you beat your homosexual lover?" Drudge. Plausible deniability is a trend the Liar uses. Ask anyone who worked in SC with McCain.

More importantly, the Terps have to win 2 of 4 to get in the tourney. The countdown continues. . . .

Most coaches recruit to their coaching style. All three would have had trouble, since they didn't recruit any of their stars. Worse yet, is that MD won a National Championship two years ago, but we don't have a one junior that can play and only one senior that starts. That's sad. Makes me sad anyways :)

College Hoops

KU didn't look too good last night. I heard that Graves didn't play a couple of games ago, but didn't realize that he was that in the dog house. Kansas need Graves bad, but it looks like he was going to get cut. How annoying is it that Barnes always gets 5-6 big guys? I think this is the year for Texas in some ways. Again the senior thesis is in effect. Between them, St Joe's, Stanford, and NC State, we'll have a pretty good Final Four. Many games left to play though.
This is my first blog ever and that's kind of fun.

The purpose of this blog is just to write about stuff that interests me.

First and foremost, the Champ Bailey situation in Washington is going way too fast. The best thing that the 'skins could do is go slow. You don't get shutdown corners that often, maybe one Redskin in the last 20 years. Wait and see, as good as Portis is, the point is that there are plenty of adequete RBs.

Second . . . Bush has taken the gloves off and has started to poke fun at the Dems. Not that the Kerry Campaign should start attacking the Prez right away, but they need to reply. Most importantly, they cannot be seen as being Dukakis-esque and need to get ahead of this. The Dems should continue to cut off Bush's air and go after his weaknesses and untrustworthiness. No passes for this administartion.

That's it for now, but I'm sure I'll have more later :)
