Second Reading: Jonathan Yardley Reexamines Jane Austen's “Pride and Prejudice” - washingtonpost.com

I've always loved Yardley. This essay plays against the reason to read most critics. I usually read criticism to see a skilled writer skewer some poor writer or movie. This essay is one about loving a book too much. Obviously sentimental, it also succeeds in conveying Yardley's love for the book without being too cloying. Maybe a sign of getting old, but I wish to read more happy reviews.
