This sounds very true. I especially like the McCain GM reference. He had his time and now he's tied his fortunes to a sinking idea (Iraq and the Bush legacy). Still too much time to the Primaries, but the GOP is looking like its in trouble. Ironic that the beating the the GOP will take in the next 2-6 years will be carried out by it's most brilliant strategist in decades.
