You want Mike Huckabee's Achilles Heel, here it is, wrapped up my Reagan's economic policy guy. Fair Tax proponents sound good, but when you get a closer look, things go down hill. Maybe Huckabee could be the answer to a Democrats dreams?

I saw this in Kurtz's column. This is a Turing Test model and it looks like it is very close to working (if it doesn't already). When do the machines take over? Kind of scary if you think about it. Also sad that it's, of course, Russian identity thieves came up with the model.

The Closer

Obama's problem is the warrior/priest issue. Mixing up all the anthropology I know, it's the fusion of the warrior/priest that leads to kings (or in this case Presidents). You can overcome this issue (see Bush I and the wimp factor), but it will require some help from ruthless advisers (see Lee Atwater's deathbed confession). Anyways, he's starting to get hit and he's hitting back. Let's see if the voters know or care in the end
Is Huckabee Democrats' Biggest Nightmare? - The Fix

He is the GOPs strongest candidate. However the "Fair Tax" thing is very inconsistent considering his fighting for the little guy stuff. He's really good at the retail stuff, but there are questions. Can he take a punch? Can he throw a punch? How ruthless is he? Any family stuff? We'll see soon enough. If I were Jeri Thompson, I'd be pretty worried though.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. It would be better if we ended all subsidies, but maybe we should have the NGOs help out subsistence farmers with fertilizer instead of having them try to grow cash crops that are affected by the global market and rich nation subsidies.
